eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics GP

Ignify eCommerce provides a bi-directional fully integrated interface to Microsoft Dynamics GP for eCommerce transactions. The eCommerce integration to Microsoft Great Plains is implemented through the Dynamics GP eConnect interface and developer tool kit

 

Ignify eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics GP supports integration with the following versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP

  • eCommerce for Microsoft Great Plains 8.0
  • eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics GP (Microsoft Great Plains 9.0)
  • eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics GP version 10.0

eCommerce and Microsoft Great Plains Integration Architecture:

The architecture diagram below illustrates the integration between Ignify eCommerce and Dynamics GP. The integration provides an automated integration between Microsoft Dynamics GP and eCommerce by integrating using a web service layer between the two applications. Automated jobs are setup that can run at different timed intervals. For example the eCommerce product catalog integration with Microsoft Great Plains items may run twice a day while the eCommerce and Great Plains sales order integration may run every 20 minutes. The integration is secured by encrypting any sensitive data in a SOAP envelope that is then transmitted between the servers on an HTTPS channel. This decoupled integration environment allows Ignify eCommerce to be hosted practically anywhere. Customers can host Ignify eCommerce in the same network where Great Plains resides or in a completely different network such as by using a dedicated server with a third party hosting service

The Integration adapter for Ignify ecommerce for Microsoft Dynamics GP comes in two versions.

 

Basic Integration Adapter: This includes integration for

  • Ignify eCommerce Catalog and Dynamics Items including Pricing, and Inventory
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics Sales Orders
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics Customers
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics GP Addresses

Advanced Integration: This includes integration for

  • Everything in the Basic Integration adapter
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics GP Cash Receipts and Payments
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics GP Invoices
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics GP Returns*

*Requires purchase of the Ignify eCommerce returns module.
