eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Ignify eCommerce provides a bi-directional fully integrated interface to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for eCommerce transactions. The eCommerce integration to Microsoft Navision is implemented through the Dynamics Dynamics NAV C/Side and C/ODBC API as well as through SQL Server.

Ignify eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics NAV supports integration with the following versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV

  • eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0
  • eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009

eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Integration Architecture:

The architecture diagram below illustrates the integration between Ignify eCommerce and Dynamics NAV. The integration provides an automated integration between Microsoft Dynamics NAV and eCommerce by integrating using a web service layer between the two applications. Automated jobs are setup that can run at different timed intervals. For example the eCommerce product catalog integration with Microsoft NAV items may run twice a day while the eCommerce and Dynamics NAV sales order integration may run every 15 minutes. The integration is secured by encrypting any sensitive data in a SOAP envelope that is then transmitted between the servers on an HTTPS channel. This decoupled integration environment allows Ignify eCommerce to be hosted practically anywhere. Customers can host Ignify eCommerce in the same network where Navision resides or in a completely different network such as by using a dedicated server with a third party hosting service.

The Integration adapter for Ignify ecommerce for Microsoft Dynamics NAV comes in two versions.

Advanced Integration: This includes integration for

  • Everything in the Basic Integration adapter
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Cash Receipts and Payments
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Invoices
  • Ignify eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Returns*
