3M Medical Sales Division: Ignify eCommerce Integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP

3M Medical Sales Division provides wound care management products and services to medical professionals through a global sales force. 3M was using a telemarketing team to take phone orders from over 800 sales people which was inefficient, prolonged the order management cycle, and provided no visibility to salespeople on order status. Minnesota Diversified Industries, 3M’s fulfilment and packaging partner, sought a more cost-effective and automated method for 3M salespeople to place orders, and incorporate intelligent reporting for its management.

To automate order entry and lower costs, Minnesota Diversified Industries implemented Ignify eCommerce, with its bidirectional integration adapter for Microsoft Dynamics GP. The implementation was completed in less than 4 months and has provided 3M medical salespeople with a Business to Business, easy to use, online ordering portal. Ignify ecommerce’s ability to provide zero touch order processing has reduced 3M’s order shipment time by more than 50% and empowered the sales people with access to real time inventory, and provided intelligent reporting to 3M management.

Aerosoles: Leading footwear retailer strengthens online presence

Aerosoles, based in Edison, New Jersey has evolved from a leading footwear brand sold in department stores into a multichannel retailer with 130 specialty stores in the US. Aerosoles also operates a direct channel which includes a catalog and an ecommerce website. The company’s current website lacked insight into customer information, had very limited marketing capabilities, and was a mere order taking vehicle. Aerosoles decided to revamp its current website into a more interactive online shopping experience that mimicked its unique physical store experience and automated back end processes.

Ignify, Inc. implemented a feature rich business to consumer website with Ignify eCommerce Marketing and Promotions, Merchandising Management, and bidirectional integration with their existing ERP system. Aerosoles now has access to key performance metrics such as site visits, visitor browse history, customer click throughs, and purchasing patterns which allows management to launch targeted marketing campaigns. Since launching the website, Aerosoles has measured over 10,000 unique visitors per day averaging 3.2 page visits.
