World Vision World Vision is a humanitarian organization serving in nearly a hundred countries around the world, offering support to communities in economic development, education, health, agriculture, etc., by delivering aid and supplies. With World Vision processing around $300 million worth of donated goods last year – which translates to around 29,000 pallets and consists of thousands of shipments by land, sea, and air – the organization required a solution that could scale according to its supply chain demands, and be flexible enough to work in different global environments. World Vision selected Microsoft Dynamics AX as its supply chain management solution in Mongolia, a country that presented an especially difficult and unique supply chain challenge due to its vast geographic size, difficult terrain, and long distances between communities. After the Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation in Mongolia, staff immediately saw dramatic improvements in supply chain performance, allowing the organization to ensure that each beneficiary receives the best possible impact with each good and service delivered.
