Sandeep Walia is the founder and CEO of IGNIFY – an ERP, CRM and eCommerce software and cloud-based solutions company with offices in the U.S., Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, and the Philippines.

Before establishing Ignify, Sandeep worked in the ERP and CRM practices at Deloitte Consulting. Prior to that, Sandeep worked on developing cost management systems with Philip Morris in Switzerland. Sandeep has also lectured as visiting faculty at the University of California, Irvine, and has spoken at multiple events nationwide, including TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), BIZ TV, and the UCLA Entrepreneurship Program.
Sandeep has also contributed articles to the Economic Times, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek. By merging his technology training and his role as a business owner, Sandeep is uniquely positioned to offer important insight on the technology that is valued by business users.
Chairman of the Board
Shankar Ram has a degree in Engineering from India and a master’s in Systems Science from the US. He has over 38 years of work experience and has been a business owner for the past 30 years. Having started and sold multiple businesses, Shankar now spends most of his time mentoring and helping companies with their strategies and operational planning.
He is the Founder and Chairman of Netwin Solutions, Inc., a software solutions provider for international trade. He is also the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Continental Foods, Inc., a Southern California based ethnic foods importer and distributor. Additionally, Shankar sits on the Board of a commercial bank, First Choice Bank of California, and a digital marketing company that caters to real estate and insurance business markets, Stratosphere Marketing Solutions Inc.
Shankar is involved with TiE Southern California, an organization for South Asian entrepreneurs. He has been on its Executive Committee for the last 5 years and has also been the Chair of TiECon for the last 3 years. Shankar is a member of International Trade Associations in Southern California, and had served as a Director-At-Large for the Foreign Trade Association of Southern California.
Associated with a variety of charitable organizations in the US and India, Shankar is currently a trustee of Gunidy1975, a trust for education based in Chennai, India. In the past, he has been on the Advisory Board of the America India Foundation, Los Angeles.
Shankar lives with his wife of 30 years in Rossmoor, California.
Pankaj Kumar is Ignify’s Chief Technology Officer and head of India operations. Pankaj is the architect of Ignify’s flagship eCommerce software solution, a product that has been deployed to over 300 customers and has processed more than $10 billion in revenues.
Ignify eCommerce is a powerful, end-to-end Web-based eCommerce solution that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM systems. Containing a comprehensive set of Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) capabilities, Ignify eCommerce enables merchants to increase online sales while lowering overall operation costs.
Pankaj’s interest areas are Internet and Web-based applications, cloud computing, Internet security, and ERP integrations. Pankaj holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L). Pankaj has previously worked with Infosys in their eBusiness Practice, and with Honeywell systems.
Navneet S. Chugh is the Managing Partner of The Chugh Firm. He is an Attorney-at-Law, a Certified Public Accountant, and holds an MBA.
The Chugh Firm provides corporate, tax, litigation, immigration, and M & A services to emerging growth and mature companies. The Chugh Firm has a staff of 240 employees with 102 attorneys and CPAs, and has offices in Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Iselin NJ, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh.
Navneet is an elected member of the TiE Global Board of Trustees. In 1997, he co-founded TiE Southern California, and was President in 2010 and 2011.
In 2003, he was the founder President of the North American South Asian Bar Association (www.NASABA.com), a nationwide body with 27 chapters in North America representing over 10,000 Indian lawyers in the U.S. and Canada.
Navneet is Co-President of Pratham, L.A., and President of Sikh Center of Orange County. He is on the board of Asia Society of Southern California, India Community Center, Habib American Bank, Ignify Consulting, and Premier Media, Inc., publisher of India Journal. He was on the board of American India Foundation (2005-10), and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (www.ypo.org).
Mohinder Chopra joined OSI Systems on April 1, 2002 as the Chief Information Officer. Mohinder has more than 25 years of experience in the Technology, Consumer Goods, Distribution, Manufacturing and Healthcare industries. He has lived and worked in the United States, Australia, France and India. He has managed Information Technology projects in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico.
For the last few years, Mohinder has been the Managing Director/President of Intrinsic Technology and Intrinsic Staffing Solutions. Prior to Intrinsic, he was CIO/ Group Leader at Tessco Technologies; SVP Information Systems in Fisher Scientific; VP MIS Voluntary Hospitals of America; CIO/VP Information Systems OCP America; General Manager MIS Kraft Foods; Director Information Systems LAMEA Kraft General Foods International; Manager Information Technology Kraft General Foods International; Systems Engineer IBM and Sales Manager Siemens Medical.
Mohinder has an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts, and a B. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
Jack Isaacs is the Director of Business Development at RLJ Equity Partners LLC, responsible for coordinating corporate initiatives and investor relations. Jack has more than 20 years of experience in private equity and as an attorney.
Formerly, Mr. Isaacs was a Managing Director and Partner at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors in the firm's growth private equity group with $615 million of assets under management. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, he served as Corporate Counsel at Macrovision Corporation. With a background in private practice as a corporate and securities lawyer, Mr. Isaacs previously worked at Foley & Lardner, LLP.
Mr. Isaacs earned a B.A. in International Relations from the College of William and Mary, a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Bar Associations of California, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
